1. First, distinguish them by their outer packaging. Reputable manufacturers will clearly label the product name on the packaging, avoiding any ambiguity or confusion. Examples include: T-type treasure safe, premium safe, electronic combination safe, mechanical safe, etc. These names can help differentiate between a safe and a treasure safe.

2. After opening the packaging, check if the product itself has a CCC mark. If it has a genuine CCC mark, and it's not a counterfeit, then it's likely a genuine safe. How to correctly identify the CCC mark is explained in detail in the safe knowledge section of the Shanghai Safe website.

3. Carefully inspect the product's appearance, paying attention to the workmanship, the tightness of the door seams, the smoothness of the casing, the lock's operation, and its security features.

4. Open the product and distinguish it by the thickness of the steel plates, especially the door panel. A high-quality safe will have a door panel with a steel plate thickness of at least 10mm, made from a single piece of steel. In contrast, a lower-quality safe will have a very thin steel plate, possibly made from two pieces joined together.

5. Carefully inspect the safe, checking the joints between the steel plates on all four sides. A good safe's body is formed from a single stamping of steel plates, with almost no gaps on all four sides, providing excellent anti-pry performance. Also, gently tap the safe and listen to the sound. A good safe, made entirely of steel, will produce a crisp sound when tapped. Some safes are made of two thin iron sheets filled with sand, producing a dull sound when tapped.
