Explosion-proof doors are designed to protect personnel and internal equipment from blast waves caused by accidental explosions outside industrial buildings, effectively preventing the spread of blast hazards.
Requirements for Explosion-Proof Doors:
(1) Explosion-proof doors should be installed in combustion chambers, furnace outlets, economizer flues, flues before induced draft fans, horizontal flues behind induced draft fans, or flues with an inclination angle greater than 300 degrees.
(2) Explosion-proof doors must be installed in locations that do not threaten the safety of operators and must be equipped with pressure relief guide pipes. Flammable and explosive materials must not be stored nearby.
(3) Movable explosion-proof doors must be manually tested and inspected regularly to prevent them from rusting shut.
