Vault doors are special security doors conforming to the "General Technical Requirements for Vault Doors" (GB 37481-2019), and are subject to mandatory national standards under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Security. They fall under the category of crime prevention products. Classified into four levels-M, A, B, and C-based on their resistance to vandalism (15-120 minutes) and fire resistance (1.5-6 hours), the door structure includes a special alloy door leaf, door frame, and day gate, and must be installed in a 300-800mm thick reinforced concrete wall.
The product is equipped with a mechanical combination lock with three or more rotary dials, a timer lock, and a safety relocking device. Steel components are treated for corrosion resistance, with door frame gaps ≤1mm and surface flatness ≤4mm. When waterproofing is added, it must withstand water penetration to a depth of 5m. Core technical specifications include arc resistance, drill resistance, cut resistance, and a dual mechanical combination lock actuator design. The standard was jointly drafted by the National Security and Alarm System Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Security Bureau of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, and several banks, and officially came into effect on May 1, 2020.
